PUREmessenger®
PUREmessenger® is a technology for the manufacturing and purification of high quality long-chain mRNA molecules up to gram scale.
The process is performed in a worldwide unique processing plant under cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) conditions so that the mRNA molecules can be used in clinical trials.
During the PUREmessenger® procedure RNA-sequences are separated according to their size, i.e. length of the sequences. This has been a challenge as RNA molecules are difficult to handle due to their size exceeding that of an antibody by a factor of 10 to 30. The very high purity accomplished by the PUREmessenger® technology is further adding to the functionality of the RNA.
